CHICKPEA

It is a plant from edible legumes and has a deep pile root. It can go up to 50-60 cm deep in the soil. There are many echoes. These are close to the soil surface and contain nodosities (tubers) in the form of kidneys. Flower stems, consisting of leaf seats of the trunk close to the soil, carry the flowers. The flower is five and can be white, pink, bluish. They are fertilized with their own flower powders. The fruits are in the shape of a bulging oval. It is pointed towards the end. There are feathers on the tip. There can be 1-3 seeds in the fruit. The seeds are formed in pebbles, bags called potlets. Seeds vary in shape, size and color. They can be in white, cream, yellowish, brown colors.

The fruits are rich in starchy and nitrogenous substances. Their flakes also contain minerals such as vegetable protein, iron, calcium and phosphorus. It can be eaten dry and fresh. It is a nutritious vegetable. Chickpeas are also used in the production of chickpeas. It strengthens the body, increases breast milk, softens the intestines, removes urine. If it is applied to the oil and water, it will pass. If 25 grams of chickpeas are kept in water for a day and eaten on an empty stomach, if some of it is seated, it will shed the worms in the intestine.
